Over the years, Brännbollsyran has grown to become one of Sweden’s largest festivals and an integral part of Umeå’s cultural life. The festival has its roots in the classic Brännbollscupen —a beloved tradition that brings together thousands of students, teams, and visitors every year for several days filled with camaraderie, creativity, and joy. For many, the Brännbollscupen is one of the absolute highlights of the year and a tradition strongly associated with student life in Umeå.
For us at Avion, it has been important to be part of that journey and to contribute to the energy, sense of community, and experience that Brännbollsyran creates every year. It’s about more than just music and the festival—it’s about people, connections, and creating memories together.
