Here at Avion Shopping, we care about families and want to make it easy for you to visit us. That’s why we have family parking spaces that are slightly wider than regular parking spaces and are located near the entrances.
We also have family rooms where you can feed your child in peace and quiet or change a diaper. There’s also a small kitchenette with a microwave and sink so you can heat up food. There’s also a play area for slightly older children to keep themselves occupied.
We also have changing tables in all restrooms, as well as family restrooms with a smaller-sized toilet for our younger visitors. Our wide aisles make it easy to navigate with a stroller, and we also have several play areas both inside the mall and outside where children can take a break to play.
In our family room, you can heat up food in our microwave, change diapers, or breastfeed—in peace and quiet. There’s also a play area here to keep the slightly older children entertained. You’ll find the family room near Entrance 2 on the upper level, next to the restrooms. You can see where they’re located in the center on our store map.
We have 2,200 free customer parking spaces, 68 of which are family parking spaces and 16 of which are accessible parking spaces that are wider than standard parking spaces and are located near the shopping center’s entrances.
We want all children to have the opportunity to play. Play areas are available both outdoors and inside the shopping center; they are intended for children ages 3–10, and all play is at your own risk.
You'll find the indoor play areas on the ground floor outside H&M, by the stairs at Willys, and on the upper floor in the family room and near the Living Room.
The outdoor play area is located between Entrances 1 and 2.
Only service dogs on duty are permitted in the shopping center. Unfortunately, service dogs in training are not permitted without permission from the center management.
Guide dogs and service dogs are welcome at Avion—the dog must wear a special harness or vest that indicates it is a service dog. Unfortunately, service dogs in training are not permitted without authorization from center management. Other animals are not permitted.
Lost gift cards are treated the same as lost cash and are non-refundable. Gift cards cannot be traced back to the recipient.
Yes, you can purchase gift cards via invoice through your company, but not as a private individual. Orders are placed through the online store, and an invoice and confirmation are sent directly to the email address provided by the person placing the order. Gift cards cannot be delivered until the invoice has been paid in full. Once paid, the gift cards can be activated via text message, or you can pick them up at Info & Lounge. Microlog handles invoice processing on behalf of the shopping center through Kredinor AB. Payment terms are 30 days net. The invoice fee is 36 SEK.
In accordance with the law on distance contracts and contracts concluded outside of business premises, you have a 14-day cooling-off period (starting on the day your order is delivered) to cancel your order for gift cards purchased online through the Avion web shop and receive a full refund, including standard shipping costs, but excluding the cost of returning the card. If you wish to return the gift card, please contact Info & Lounge at info@avionshopping.se
The right of return applies only to unused gift cards. The return policy does not apply to gift cards purchased from the gift card machine.
Yes, your gift card will work just as usual even after Avion Shopping has changed property owners to Eurocommercial.
You can purchase our gift card at any of our gift card kiosks in the shopping center, at Info & Lounge, or in our online store. The gift card has a minimum balance of 100 SEK and a maximum balance of 5,000 SEK when loaded at a gift card kiosk. If you’d like to load a larger amount, please contact Info & Lounge at info@avionshopping.se.
If you change your mind about a purchase made with a gift card at one of our stores, you can return the product to that store, and a refund will be issued directly to the gift card. A refund does not extend the gift card’s validity period. Please note that it may take up to three business days for the funds to appear on the card. You cannot receive a refund in cash or as a deposit to a debit card.
At Avion Shopping, several of our stores, cafés, and restaurants offer discounted prices to those who are 65 or older or will turn 65 this year.

You can sort your trash at the mall into our bins for plastic, other waste, paper packaging, and returnable bottles. You’ll find them mainly near our seating areas throughout the mall.
You can also drop off your recyclables at the recycling station operated by the City of Umeå. You'll find it at the roundabout on Marknadsgatan, behind Systembolaget.

At Info & Lounge, you can both pick up and send packages via PostNord, as well as pick up packages from Instabox. We can also help you with general postal needs, such as stamps and packaging.
At our Info & Lounge, you’ll receive personalized service throughout your visit. We can help you with parcel services, gift cards, lost items, and other practical matters, and you can also take a break, charge your phone, or use our Wi-Fi.
You’ll find our lockers on the ground floor, near the restrooms behind the food court. Here, you can easily lock away and store your outerwear and bags while you’re visiting us. Storing your belongings in the lockers is free, and you choose your own four-digit code to unlock the locker.
The lockers are emptied every evening, and if—by any chance—you’ve left your belongings in a locker, you can retrieve them by providing a description at our Info & Lounge.

We have two Speed Photo photo booths that make it easy and convenient to take everything from ID photos to fun photos. Photos taken at the booth are approved by the Swedish Transport Agency for driver’s license renewals. They are also approved for ID cards, foreign passports, and visa photos*. In our Info & Lounge, we have an Instabox where you can easily and conveniently pick up packages you've ordered online.
How does it work?
Select Instabox at checkout at your favorite online store, and you'll receive a text message with a tracking link and a PIN. You can pick up your package using the PIN, without having to wait in line.
We do not have camera surveillance in the public areas of the shopping center. However, we use video technology to conduct visitor analysis, which helps us understand how visitors use our shopping center. This technology uses AI-driven algorithms based on clothing recognition to generate these analyses. It does not involve the processing of any biometric data or special category personal data. To be clear: your clothing is the only data we process, and only as part of the larger, overall pattern of movement within the shopping center—not to track how you, as an individual, use our shopping center.
This limited personal data is processed in real time and is not stored. The legal basis for processing this limited personal data is our legitimate interest in collecting analytics on visits to Mötesplatsen in order to improve our visitors’ experiences.

Unfortunately, customers sometimes leave things behind or lose items here. Items found in the shopping center are turned in to our Info & Lounge. Valuables are turned over to the police. Items that have not been claimed within six months are donated to charity. If you’ve lost something, please contact the Info & Lounge at 0770-350 355.
At our seating areas in the mall, you can charge your cell phone, tablet, or computer using our charging stations. You can also charge your electronic devices in our Info & Lounge.
We offer free Wi-Fi to our visitors at Avion Shopping. This means you can avoid unnecessary extra costs and use your electronic devices in peace and quiet.

In our parking lot, you’ll now find 18 modern charging stations from Recharge Sweden, designed for both short and long stops. We offer both standard and fast chargers, so you can choose the option that best suits your needs based on how long you plan to stay.
All charging is handled through Recharge’s payment solutions, where you can easily pay with a debit or credit card, via the Recharge app, or with a charging card or RFID. All you need to do is connect your car and start charging in the way that works best for you. Convenient, straightforward, and accessible—just the way it should be.
We are located 2.6 km from downtown Umeå, and you can easily get here by bike. Follow the signs that start at Vänortsparken and lead via Kyrkbron, Fågelstigen, Åkervägen, and Marknadsgatan to the Söderslätts shopping district.
We have several bike parking areas and an air pump in case you need to inflate your tires. At the bike parking areas near Entrance 3 and on the short side of IKEA near the trailer rental, you’ll find our bike repair stations, where you can inflate your tires and hang up or secure your bike if needed.
From the south
Follow the E4 north toward Skellefteå. At the Söderslättsrondellen roundabout, take the second exit to the right onto Marknadsgatan and follow the signs to Avion Shopping.
From the north
Follow the E12 south toward Sundsvall and cross the Tegsbron bridge. Continue on the E12 until you reach a roundabout, where you’ll turn left and follow the signs to Avion Shopping.
