The public has voted Avion Shopping the best shopping center in the county, followed by Solbackens Handelsområde and Utopia Shopping. Gekås Ullared has the most satisfied customers in all of Sweden, followed by Westfield Täby Centrum and Kongahälla Center, outside Gothenburg.
“All successful retail starts with attracting consumers, and the shopping centers that succeed in doing so have the most satisfied customers,” says Peter Wissing, project manager for the study at Evimetrix. “By analyzing what drives customer satisfaction and then working hard to excel in those aspects of the shopping experience, all shopping centers can strengthen their position and, in turn, their success,” he continues.
The selection of stores is the single most important factor in ensuring that shoppers are satisfied with their visit. The mall or shopping center should offer a good and varied selection so that the needs of all types of customers are met. Avion Shopping has the best selection in Västerbotten.
Almost as important as the variety of stores is ensuring that consumers feel comfortable in the center’s spaces. This involves design, lighting, colors, furnishings, and similar elements that help make the center feel inviting. In Västerbotten, Avion Shopping has the most inviting spaces.
The moment of truth—or customer service—is also a key factor in ensuring a satisfying shopping experience for consumers. The country’s shopping centers receive fairly good ratings for their customer service, but for a number of centers, the ratings are, unfortunately, quite low. Avion Shopping ranks first in the county for customer service.
