We are currently collaborating with Umeå Stadsmission, the Church of Sweden, and Mind. We also collaborate on an ongoing basis with a number of different organizations.
Step Store – Step Challenge
Collect steps to support Mind—every step counts! With a focus on conversation and physical activity, Avion aims to contribute to better mental and physical health. Throughout June and July, we’re raising money for the nonprofit organization Mind and its work to combat mental health issues by encouraging physical activity and collecting steps.
Throughout the period June 16–July 13, 2023, the step challenge will be underway. For every step you take, you have the opportunity to contribute and support the fight against mental illness. Everyone can track their steps in the Info & Lounge to benefit Mind. If we reach 1 miljoner steps together, Avion will donate 20 000 kr to Mind. Every step counts!
Food for Everyone
Food prices are rising, and more and more people are struggling to put food on the table. Our partner, Umeå Stadsmission, serves breakfast and lunch and distributes food bags to those in need.

Cloth Bags
Buy one of our cloth bags and help Umeå Stadsmission make Umeå a better city for everyone. Each bag costs 50 kr, and all proceeds from sales go directly to Umeå Stadsmission via Swish. The cloth bags are also Fair Trade and made from 100% organic cotton. A cloth bag that does good and that you can use over and over again. You can find them at Info & Lounge and in some of our stores.
Wall of Kindness
Together with Umeå Stadsmission, we have, for three years in a row, encouraged anyone with an extra winter jacket to donate it to someone in need through our Wall of Kindness. With the message “Take a jacket if you need one—Donate a jacket you have to spare,” we want to give more of our fellow human beings the chance to stay warm during the coldest months of the year.
